In case there are accounts found in violation of our rules, we have various possibilities for penalty actions. Please be aware that the penalty severity will depend on the severity of the violation and that, as such, we are unable to provide exact details for every possible scenario.
There are some severe cases that lead to an immediate permanent closure, but usually a penalty involves the temporary closure of the account in question. Very minor offenses might just result in a warning, however we always take the previously applied penalties into consideration.
Should an account be in danger of receiving a permanent closure for multiple or repeated offenses, we will inform the account owner about this by issuing a final warning. Any further violation after this will most likely immediately lead to the closing of the account.
Below you may find an example of the usual development an account has from first penalty to permanent closure:
- 1st offense: 6 hour ban
- 2nd offense: 12 hour ban
- 3rd offense: 24 hour ban + final warning issued
- 4th offense: account closure
- 1st offense: 12 hour ban
- 2nd offense: 24 hour ban
- 3rd offense: 72 hour ban + final warning issued
- 4th offense: account closure
