You can only launch an attack after spining and getting 3 gun symbols. Once this happens you will be taken to the attack screen where you can choose one of the gang to attack. For a successful attack you will earn more money to spend! Be careful though, the enemy may be protected by armor meaning you will earn less rewards for an attack.
